Location

From Victoria
Drive north on Highway 1 to Nanaimo, just south of Nanaimo, take the exit for Highway 19 and the North Island. Bus connections are available from downtown.

From the Mainland
Driving to Vancouver Island is easily accessible by BC Ferries, with several convenient sailings connecting the mainland to Vancouver Island year-round. Guests travelling from Vancouver can sail from Tsawwassen to Nanaimo (Duke Point) or Victoria (Swartz Bay), while travellers from the Sunshine Coast can connect through Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo (Departure Bay).

From Seattle and Washington State, international visitors can drive up to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal or directly onto the Island via the Black Ball Ferry Line between Port Angeles and Victoria.

Tigh-Na-Mara is conveniently located just 30 minutes north of Nanaimo, making the Duke Point and Departure Bay ferry terminals the closest and most direct routes to the resort. We recommend reserving ferry sailings in advance, especially during peak travel periods.

From Tofino or Ucluelet
Follow Hwy. 4, the 2 - 2 ½ hour drive leads directly to Qualicum Beach.

From the Comox Valley
Take either the scenic coastal Oceanside Route 19A south from Courtenay, or the four-lane Inland Island Highway 19 south. Either way, Parksville & Qualicum Beach are less than an hour away.
