The Sous Chef at the Grotto Spa's Treetop Tapas & Grill, will support the Chef in delivering a distinct culinary experience. Situated in an intimate 30-seat, reservations-only setting, a newly renovated state of the art kitchen, and featuring a set menu with a tapas presentation. Together with the Chef, the Treetop Sous Chef will provide leadership and support to the culinary team, inspiring them to embrace innovation within the parameters of the dining environment. The Sous Chef will conduct frequent table touches when the Chef is not available, engage with guests, and present dishes. During peak times, the Sous Chef will support managing the line and expo ensuring each dish is made to perfection. As well, ensuring food production consistently meets Treetops standards.
The Sous Chef will have the opportunity to demonstrate culinary creativity and share ideas and suggestions for seasonal menu and present unique dishes for the Chef’s consideration. The incumbent will take pride supporting the Treetop culinary experience, and Team, leading through Tigh-Na-Mara’s values, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
