Snack Shack Attendant (Seasonal)

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Gift Shop Manager, this seasonal position is based at beach level on Rathtrevor Beach—imagine getting paid to watch the waves all shift long! The Snack Shack Clerk is the face of Tigh-Na-Mara on the shoreline, serving up frozen treats, snacks, and beach toys, while renting paddleboards and sharing resort knowledge with guests. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fun, guest-facing environment and enjoys working independently in a beautiful setting.

REsponsibilities

Set up and close the Snack Shack each day, including handling cash and stock.
Rent paddleboards and assist guests with basic instructions.
Serve drinks, snacks, ice cream, and sell beach toys.
Always Follow Food Safe standards.
Provide friendly service and build connections with returning guests.
Share resort information and promote upcoming events.
Restock supplies daily and assist with monthly inventory counts.
Assist peers in other departments related to operations when the Snack Shack is closed due to poor weather.
Work as a team in a positive and fun environment while completing all duties with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Food Safe Level 1 an asset
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
Accurate cash handling
