JOB SUMMARY

We prefer you to have a minimum of three years’ experience in hotel or resort sales, established, working relationships within the Canadian meetings market and experience selling an independent resort. Experience working with professional organizations that support group business (SITE, MPI, Cvent, CSAE etc.) a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet/exceed personal revenue goals
  • Daily prospecting to build upon client base
  • Adhere to booking guidelines to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Research and develop contacts in assigned market segments
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, meeting planners and team members
  • Attend trade shows, provide sales presentations, and site inspections, conduct sales calls, generate effective proposals and contracts
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience with Delphi.fdc a plus
  • Ability to travel, work weekends and evenings when required and have reliable transportation
  • Additional duties as required
  • On property role, not home-based
