Hair Stylist We are seeking a certified full-time ambitious, creative, talented and established Hair Stylist. Must be available to work Tuesday - Saturday. Ideal candidates are positive, friendly and detail-oriented. The Grotto Spa in Parksville has a great opportunity for an ambitious, creative, talented and established Hair Stylist. We are looking for an individual, with a local client base, to come and run our Joico Hair Salon as though it was your own. We anticipate you working full-time, and hiring 1 or 2 other stylists as needed. You will also make commission on the other stylists hired. This is a great opportunity to “run your own salon” without the overhead and expense.

Part Time Positions

Banquet Server Applicants must be able to work nights and weekends with full time availability. Must be physically fit, able to do stairs and lift 25lbs regularly. Serving experience an asset. Applicants must be team players, well-groomed, guest focused, reliable, positive, friendly and organized. We will train the right candidate. This is a year round, permanent, part-time position. Duties include serving banquet guests food and beverages, room set-ups and take downs, cleaning and guest satisfaction.

Room Attendants Year round positions available on our housekeeping team, cleaning guest rooms. Must be available weekends. Ideal candidates are positive, friendly, physically fit, and detail-oriented.

Registered Massage Therapist We are seeking certified Registered Massage Therapists. Must be well groomed and able to work weekends and shift work. Must be a team player with strong guest and retail service skills. Wages are $8.50 per hour with increases at 12 and 24 months, plus $22.00 per hour for Therapeutic commission, plus retail commission, plus gratuities. We have full and part-time positions available. Part-time hours are between 16 -30 hours per week.

Aesthetician We are seeking a trained Aesthetician. Applicants must be well-groomed, friendly and positive with strong guest service skills and retail service skills. Must be able to work shifts and weekends. Duties include providing aesthetic services and retail sales.

Kitchen StewardWe are seeking a Kitchen Steward to work evenings and weekends until midnight. You must be able to lift 30 lbs regularly. We are looking for someone who is reliable, honest, hard-working, and a team player. Duties include: washing pots & pans; operating commercial dishwashers; loading & unloading dishwashers; loading & unloading racks; cleaning; and other duties as assigned.
