Grotto Spa at Tigh-Na-Mara 
The Grotto Spa features 18 massage and esthetic treatment rooms, a manicure and pedicure room featuring European Pedicure Thrones and a full service hair salon. The three private couples day suites feature hand-crafted copper soaker tubs and oversized treatment tables. Please visit the spa link for additional information.
Pool House & Fitness Centre
Access to the Pool House & Fitness Centre is complimentary for Resort guests and offers guests indoor swimming, a whirlpool and sauna. Towels are provided for your convenience in our beautifully appointed locker rooms. The fitness centre is equipped with Precor Cardio Theatre Exercise Equipment, weight machines and free weights. Televisions are also available for guest use while in the fitness centre. The rooftop patio, located directly above the Pool House is available during regular Pool House hours and offers outdoor chess and lounge chairs.

Ocean Swimming
Parksville is known for its sandy beaches and the warmest ocean waters in Canada. Tigh-Na-Mara is situated on three kilometers of sandy, tidal flat beach, meaning the tide goes out approximately one kilometer, leaving behind small pools that heat up in the sun. When the tide comes in, these pools mix with the cooler ocean and can be as warm as 75-80 degrees F or 25C.
Mountain Bikes (Seasonal)
Rent a bike for the afternoon and explore some of the breathtaking scenery of our area. Ride through Rathtrevor Provincial Park or through Top Bridge Trails and enjoy a swim in the river before heading back. Rentals are available by the hour, 1/2 day, and all day. We also have children’s bikes and helmets.
Sports
The Resort has a tennis court, basketball hoop, a ping-pong table, a volleyball court and two horseshoe pits. All equipment is available at no charge from the front desk.
Laundry
We have several coin-operated laundry facilities conveniently located throughout the property; beside the playground, in the lower level of the Jedediah building and across from the Grotto Spa.
Kids at Tigh-Na-Mara 
Installed in June 2008, our playground is fun for the whole family. With double slides, places to climb and space to run, the Tigh-Na-Mara playground offers hours of enjoyment.
The Resort also offers families the most extensive Resort summer, spring break and Christmas recreation programs on Vancouver Island, with activities for every age group.
The Pines Boutique & Gift Shop
Featuring the works of Vancouver Island and British Columbia artisans, logo wear, snacks and toiletries to make your stay more enjoyable. The Pines Boutique & Gift Shop is the perfect place to pick up a special memento of the Island for yourself or someone back home.

Car Rental and Shuttle Services

We offer bouquets of roses and fresh cut flowers. You may pre-purchase these through reservations at time of booking or at the front desk upon arrival.
Thrifty Foods On-line Grocery Orders
Tigh-Na-Mara is pleased to provide on-line grocery ordering with our partners at Thrifty Foods Parksville.
Guests have three convenient shopping options;
- Online Grocery ordering, followed by delivery to Tigh-Na-Mara
- To place an online order and then personally pick up the completed grocery order at Thrifty’s in Parksville
- Shop in-store and Thrifty’s will deliver to Tigh-Na-Mara

- Groceries will be delivered to Tigh-Na-Mara at approximately 5pm PST. Should your arrival be delayed, please call Thrifty’s directly at 250-240-4509 to arrange for an alternate delivery or pick up time
- Payment is due when the groceries are delivered to Tigh-Na-Mara. Regrettably these charges may not be posted to your guestroom, however guests may provide pre-payment to Thrifty’s via credit card
